An AI calendar assistant that briefs you on your day
Ask “What's on today?” and Hy gives you a short briefing: your meetings, what to prepare and what changed. Hy keeps an eye on your calendar in the background and tells you when something needs you.

What Hy does with your calendar
- Briefs you on your day: meetings, open questions from your mail and what you should prepare, in a few lines.
- Notices changes: when a meeting moves or a headcount is due, Hy tells you in the chat, with a short reason why now. These checks run every half hour in the cloud, even while the app is closed.
- Prepares meetings: when your mail and files support it, Hy prepares a short meeting brief before it notifies you.
- Plans with you: find a free slot, plan a trip or a long weekend, and turn what you decide into a plan.
- Remembers birthdays: phone calendars include birthdays, and Hy can greet you once on your own.
Calendars Hy works with
Google Calendar, Outlook through Microsoft 365, and on the iPhone your phone's Calendar and Reminders, shared read-only and only if you turn them on. You choose each connection under Connectors and can disconnect any time.
You decide how often Hy asks
In Settings → Approvals you choose how Hy acts on your behalf. With Always ask, you review every change before it runs: you see what Hy wants to do and why, and nothing happens until you tap Allow. With Risky actions, routine work goes ahead and Hy asks before anything risky or destructive. You can also give standing permissions for things you do often.
Approvals lists every request next to what Hy did and what is coming up, so you can always see what happened.
Questions
- Can Hy change my calendar?
- In a connected Google or Microsoft 365 account, yes, within the approvals you set. Your phone's own calendar is only read, never changed.
- How does Hy know what is important?
- Hy looks at your calendar together with your mail, so it can tell you why a meeting matters now: a deadline, a change or something you still need to answer.
