From rough meeting notes to a follow-up email, in one chat
The most fragile part of a sale is what happens after the call. Right after a demo or a first meeting, tell Hy what happened, typed or spoken, and Hy writes the follow-up email, a short recap for you and the next steps, while the details are still fresh.
Things to ask Hy
- “Here are my notes from the call with Greenfield. Write the follow-up email.”
- “Make an internal recap: pain points, objections, risks, next steps”
- “In three days, remind me if they haven't replied”
- “Put the next steps on my to-do list”
What Hy does
- Takes rough notes: don't clean them up first. Paste them, or call Hy and just talk on the way out of the meeting.
- Writes the follow-up email: warm, short and clear about the next step, in your tone, ready to send from your own mailbox.
- Makes a recap for you: pain points, objections, buying signals, risks and next steps.
- Follows up: Hy reminds you if the other side goes quiet, and suggests a short second email.
You decide how often Hy asks
In Settings → Approvals you choose how Hy acts on your behalf. With Always ask, you review every change before it runs: you see what Hy wants to do and why, and nothing happens until you tap Allow. With Risky actions, routine work goes ahead and Hy asks before anything risky or destructive. You can also give standing permissions for things you do often.
Approvals lists every request next to what Hy did and what is coming up, so you can always see what happened.
Questions
- Can I dictate the notes?
- Yes. Call Hy from the chat and just talk. What you say is kept as text in the conversation, and Hy works from it.
- Does the email go out automatically?
- Only within your approvals. With Always ask, you see the email and tap Allow before it is sent.
